Transforming information into data: a use case at the Université Grenoble Alpes

Built from available information already present in a variety of university information systems it also demonstrates how much can be accomplished with the information already collected and archived as a result of day-to-day university processes. However the project also highlights some of the university’s ongoing weaknesses with respect to assessment quality management and data-driven decision making and the need for further more strategic use of information.
