The 2024 Bologna Process Implementation report provides an overview of the latest policy commitments in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and assesses their implementation.

This new edition is structured in six chapters:

  1. Background data about the European higher education sector.
  2. Key commitments concerning degree structures, the recognition of qualifications and quality assurance.
  3. Fundamental values: academic freedom, academic integrity, institutional autonomy, student and staff participation, and public responsibility for and of higher education.
  4. The social dimension.
  5. Learning and teaching objectives (as established in the 2020 Rome Communiqué).
  6. Mobility and internationalisation, including a final section focused on how higher education institutions are aiding the Ukrainian academic community.
