The TPG-LRC CoRE project supported the implementation of the Bologna Process, focusing on key commitment 2 on national legislation and procedures compliant with the Lisbon Recognition Convention in countries that are part of the Bologna Follow-Up Group Thematic Peer Group B on the Lisbon Recognition Convention (TPG B).

The project thus supported the institutional activities of TPG B, through the organisation of TPG meetings, based on a peer approach to share good practise in the field. Three open seminars were organised as multiplier events, respectively on alternative pathways, automatic recognition and digitalisation to share knowledge and build ownership among partners, TPG B members and consultative members and within the community of stakeholders involved in the recognition of qualifications.

The project produced the following publications:

  • Ensuring and enhancing the quality of recognition processes: Key considerations and recommendations (May 2024)
  • Micro-credentials for higher education institutions: Approaches developed in the EHEA using peer support (May 2024)
  • Mapping digital tools for recognition in the EHEA: Practices from peer support approach (March 2025)
  • The European degree from a recognition perspective: A look at policies and pilot experiences (March 2025)
