Registrations for the next EuroScience Policy Forum (ESPF), which will debate Science activism and how far researchers should go in their knowledge transfer and advice to policies, are now open.

The event is organised in collaboration with EuroScience, the Ministry of Research and Universities of the Catalan Government and the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI) and will be held both online and onsite, on 19 – 20 October 2023 in Girona, Spain.

This event will lead participants through a discussion on how scientists can not only effectively translate and disseminate research to support evidence-informed policymaking but on how and when it is appropriate for scientists to act as advocates. It will highlight the emerging role of the Science Activist as well as some of the pitfalls and challenges that come along with this increased level of engagement.
