Following the EUA’s General Assembly in April the Board Council and Secretariat embarked on a review of EUA’s Strategic Plan to take stock of the Association’s achievements thus far this decade and to plan for the future. This year also saw the approval of a revised set of statutes for the Association.
With European elections approaching in 2024 this year was also focused on preparations for the next mandate of the EU’s institutions which will be pivotal to the future of Europe and its university sector. Throughout 2023 EUA’s Universities and the future of Europe (UniFE) project engaged in wide-ranging discussions on the future of Europe and our sector’s place within it.
