EUA Annual Report 2023
With the election of a new President and Board, 2023 was a year of renewal and reflection for the European University Association.
Following the EUA’s General Assembly in April, the Board, Council and Secretariat embarked on a review of EUA’s Strategic Plan, to take stock of the Association’s achievements thus far this decade and to plan for the future. This year also saw the approval of a revised set of statutes for the Association.
With European elections approaching in 2024, this year was also focused on preparations for the next mandate of the EU’s institutions, which will be pivotal to the future of Europe and its university sector. Throughout 2023, EUA’s Universities and the future of Europe (UniFE) project engaged in wide-ranging discussions on the future of Europe and our sector’s place within it.
