Inclusive Higher Digital Education webinar: The way forward

09 September 2022

Hosted on Thursday 22 September, the webinar “Inclusive Higher Digital Education: The way forward”, will be an opportunity to learn about practical tools that can promote the accessibility of digital education. The webinar is organised within the framework of the “Inclusive University Digital Education (InclUDE)” project. EUA Deputy Director of Higher Education Policy Thérèse Zhang will be among the speakers.

The last two years have seen a great acceleration of the digital transition across our societies, with our education systems being no exception. Initially forced to move online during the COVID-19 pandemic, many higher education students are now aware of the opportunities of online learning. Despite these opportunities, the move to online learning also highlighted the inaccessibility of many digital teaching and learning methodologies and the demand for more inclusive and accessible online teaching has grown.

Via the InclUDE project’s resources students, lecturers, Higher Education professionals and support service providers have easy access to free resources and guidelines for online accessibility. Following the presentation of these tools the event will bring together stakeholders to explore how we can work together towards the challenging, yet necessary, goal of an inclusive digital higher education.

The event will take place 11.00-13.00 CEST, read the agenda and click here for the registration link. For more information, please visit the website of the European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD).

During the event, International and Austrian Sign Language interpretation will be provided.
