On 17 November, EUA released the findings of a snapshot survey on the impact of Covid-19 on universities starting the academic year. Conducted at the end of October, it is based on the replies of 26 national rectors’ conferences across Europe.

The results provide an overview on learning and teaching provision, as well as on how universities in different systems across Europe contribute to Covid-19 vaccination and testing.

Some of the data, and the more optimistic assumption that it captures, may have a short shelf life, given that in recent weeks the Covid-19 situation in many countries has deteriorated.
