Needs and expectations of higher education institutions

The presentation is now available!

What do higher education institutions want from quality assurance? Are current quality assurance activities adequately responding to emerging trends in higher education? Are more regulations necessary to improve quality assurance processes?

These are some of the questions that were addressed during this joint webinar on Monday 18 September at 9.30 CEST. The European University Association (EUA) and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) expanded on the results of the first phase of the “Quality Assurance Fit for the Future” (QA-FIT) project, already published in a joint paper, and discussed the potential implications of these preliminary findings. The webinar focused on the perception of quality assurance by higher education institutions and explored whether the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) are fit for purpose. It also drew some comparisons with the viewpoints of other stakeholders such as QA agencies, Higher Education ministries and students in the European Higher Education Area.
