“Yebo! Development of the Internationalization of PhD Studies in South-Africa” (2017-20) is an Erasmus+ funded project focused on further developing the internationalisation of doctoral education in South African universities.
Three approaches contribute to achieving this objective:
EUA is a project partner and will advise the consortium on the application of its “Framework for the Internationalisation of Doctoral Education” (FRINDOC). This framework helped inspire Yebo! and will serve as the basis for its activities. It consists of four principles for the internationalisation of doctoral education:
Yebo! is funded under Erasmus + Key Action 2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Capacity building in the field of Higher Education.
The European University Association (EUA) is a partner in the Yebo! project. We invite European universities to share relevant opportunities available for South African doctoral candidates as contributions towards the development of an online Yebo! portal.Read more
