The call for participation in the European University Association’s pilot Leadership Development Programme is now open. You can submit an application until 24 October 2024, 23.59 (CEST).
This pioneering initiative will empower senior university leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the complexities of European higher education. The first cohort will consist of up to 20 senior leaders from EUA member institutions with a keen interest in developing their leadership skills in a European and international setting. It will be a dynamic and collaborative experience, where participants will forge a unique community built on shared experiences and a strong European perspective.
The pilot programme will kick off in April 2025 with a session connected to the EUA Annual Conference at the University of Latvia in Riga. This will be followed by a 5-day block in Brussels. Then in September 2025, participants can choose from three 2-day modules on leading big transformations such as the European Universities alliances, sustainability and the digital transition, and equity, diversity and inclusion. Additional online sessions will complement the programme, covering vital topics like innovative leadership, change management, integrity in leadership, and academic freedom.
