Webinar 7 – University leaders discuss the Rome Communiqué of the Bologna Process: feedback and visions for the future

During the final webinar of the EUA series “Towards the Bologna Process Ministerial Meeting”, European university leaders discussed their feedback and reactions to the Communiqué planned for adoption by the European Ministers for Higher Education in Rome on 19 November. The webinar addressed the state of play in European cooperation in higher education policy, as well as development trends including further engagement in the social dimension, the education mission of universities, commitment towards fundamental values, and the overall resilience and recovery capacity in the aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis. University leaders also exchanged on their visions for the future of the European Higher Education Area.   

This webinar was for EUA members only and offers an opportunity for exchange. It gathered speakers from different backgrounds and countries, including university leaders and EUA Board members. Michael Murphy, EUA President, hosted and moderated the webinar.
