The AR25 project consortium, in which EUA is a partner, is delighted to announce registrations for the event “Recognizing micro-credentials: from theory to practice”, taking place online on 26 September 2024, 09.30-12.30 CEST.

This virtual event is centred on the question of how higher education institutions (HEIs) can be supported in developing flexible recognition procedures for micro-credentials. The event will start with a demonstration of the Micro-Evaluator, an online recognition tool for the recognition of micro-credentials that was launched in 2022 and has recently been tested and evaluated by higher education institutions across Europe. Institutional representatives will then be invited to share examples of procedures and solutions for recognizing micro-credentials from their own practice. The event will focus on some of the more salient aspects and stumbling blocks for recognition, such as how to deal with the quality assurance of micro-credentials, certificates from non-formal providers, and applying procedures for Recognition of Prior Learning.

More information about this event is available online.
