The Joint European Degree Label is a new EU label for joint programmes delivered by consortia of higher education institutions from at least two EU Member States. Established through a Council Recommendation in May 2025, it recognises programmes that meet agreed European criteria for joint programme design and delivery building on the EHEA tools and promoting innovative and attractive student-centred learning experiences.
This webinar, the first in the series on the Joint European Degree Label, will provide a practical introduction to understanding how the Joint European Degree Label will work in practice. The webinar is organised by the European Commission, with support from PPMI/part of the Verian Group and ICF. The European Commission along with experts who contributed to drafting the operational guide will discuss the objectives and the added value of the label. They will walk the participants through the operational guide including clarifying how the joint programmes will be assessed, and explaining how to interpret the criteria in practice. There will be dedicated time for questions.
The webinar is intended for those who are preparing or want to know more about how to assess joint programmes and award the Joint European Degree Label.
Places are limited and registration is required. Deadline to register: 17 June
