08 March 2018

Several on-site courses are offered during this spring and summer at Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum (Rome) as part of the institution’s international activity. This includes the 17th International Summer Course in Bioethics, sponsored by the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights.

The 17th International Summer Course in Bioethics is organised by the School of Bioethics of the Pontifical Ateneo Regina Apostolorum. This course is offered to all those who are interested in obtaining a greater understanding of the principles of bioethics and other bioethical issues. After the introductory week on bioethics that will take place from 2 to 6 July, the topic of the second one-week course from 9 to 13 July will be “Human Enhancement: Bioethical Challenges of Emerging Technologies”.

The course is targeted at medical and health personnel, especially in andrology and gynaecology, psychologists and psychotherapists, educators and trainers, and particularly middle school and high school teachers: priests, catechism teachers and other pastoral agents, or communicators and sociologists interested in the cultural and social dynamics of our time.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
