Call for participation in the 2021 Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups

The call for participation in the 2021 Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups is now open. The new thematic peer groups will have a digital focus, offering an opportunity for European higher education institutions to exchange with colleagues about their strategic approaches to digitally enhanced learning and teaching. The deadline for applications is 29 January 2021.

Three thematic peer groups will be organised in 2021. Out of the four themes proposed below, the top three will be selected based on the applicants’ preferences:

  • strategy and organisational culture
  • student support and success
  • curriculum and assessment
  • international partnerships

Under this call, around 20-30 institutions will be selected. The thematic peer groups will kick off with a joint event in March 2021 and wrap up in February 2022. Over this period, participants will meet within their groups in online exchanges and they will also work on the topic outside the organised meetings. This work will culminate in a final workshop ahead of the 2022 European Learning & Teaching Forum. Participants will also be given the opportunity to partake in and organise an optional series of webinars on cross-cutting issues relating to digitally enhanced learning and teaching, as well as a follow-up event in May or June 2022.
