Call for applications: Languages and Cultures Department Director at the University of Aveiro

EUA member University of Aveiro (Portugal) has launched a call for applications for the Department Director position for one teaching and research unit: Languages and Cultures.

The Director will be responsible at university department level for the management and representation of their respective department. Professors and researchers of the University of Aveiro, as well as professors and researchers from other Portuguese or foreign teaching and research institutions are eligible to apply.

The candidates for this position must have relevant experience in teaching or research functions and in management positions in higher education or scientific research institutions. They should also have a strategic vision, reflected in a program, drawn up for the purpose and appropriate to the mission of the Department of Languages and Cultures and proficiency in Portuguese and at least one of the following languages, ​​for the exercise of the position: English, French, German or Spanish.

Applications will be accepted in Portuguese and should be submitted until 10 November 2022 at the latest.
