“Strategies for inclusion of refugees and migrants in European Universities” training by the UNI(di)VERSITY project

The UNI(di)VERSITY project is organising a Staff Training Week on “Strategies for inclusion of refugees and migrants in European Universities” which will take place on 7-10 June 2022 at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.


The Staff Training week will provide participants with a set of instruments and hands-on activities to develop strategies aimed at integrating migration issues at all levels of institutional activities. The participants can be academic and administrative staff at all levels. At the end of the training, participants will acquire skills to:

  • analyse needs and identify strengths and weaknesses;
  • develop solutions and design strategic plans;
  • develop intercultural communication skills;
  • embed migration issues into institutional activities (services, teaching and research).

Applications are accepted until 12 May 2022. There are no participation fees and participants can cover their own travel and living expenses through the Erasmus Staff Mobility Programme for Training.

The training is organised in the framework of the EU project UNI(di)VERSITY, aiming at supporting European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in promoting overarching strategies for inclusion of refugees and migrants.

UNI(di)VERSITY is implemented by a consortium composed by Sapienza University of Rome, UNIMED (Union of the Mediterranean Universities), UBSF (University of Barcelona Solidarity Foundation), EUA (European University Association) with Campus France and IOM (International Organization for Migration) as associate partners.
