Call for proposals: European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean Young Scientists’ Networks Days 2022

The European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) Foundation launched a call for proposals for presentations that are going to be developed during the Latin American and Caribbean and European Union Young Scientists’ Networks Days, which will be held from 14 to 18 March 2022, in virtual format. EUA is a partner.

The EU-LAC Young Scientists’ Networks Days is open to representatives of networks and groups of young European, Latin American and Caribbean scientists who are pursuing a PhD, or are engaged as junior researchers, whose field of study is relevant to Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, or to the bi-regional partnership itself.

The topics of interest for presentations include thematic such as innovation and internationalisation in learning and teaching, physical and digital mobility, open science, inclusive education, gender equity in academia and science. Based on the selected proposals, a detailed programme will be established, including a session of presentation of networks and associations of young researchers and doctoral students, various thematic sessions and a final session during which participants can agree on their intentions to follow up on the discussions and elaborate ways of working on a common agenda.

The call for proposals is open until the 20 February 2022. The applicants will be notified about the results of the selection by 25 February 2022. For a full list of themes and more details regarding the submission process and eligibility criteria, please visit the foundation’s call page directly.
