Call for applications: Training-of-Trainers – Evidence for policy course

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) opened the second round of their Training-of-Trainers programme for researchers and facilitators from EU countries.

Participants completing the project will help researchers in EU countries to have impact on policy.

Participants will learn how to train researchers to effectively inform the design of public policies and debates. The Training-of-Trainers programme covers topics such as:

• assessing science  
• understanding the differences between policy and science  
• gaining insight into the interaction between scientists, policymakers and politicians.  

The objective of the project is to train 16 pairs of “local trainers”, in 2022, to deliver the 2-day professional training course on Evidence for policy. 

As the course requires two “local trainers”, candidates are required to apply in pairs. The deadline for application is 20 February 2022.
