Supporting Afghanistan's scholars: Information for higher education institutions in Europe

The Inspireurope project will host an information session for higher education institutions and other employers across Europe on supporting scholars from Afghanistan. This 90-minute webinar will take place at 15:00 CEST on 30 September 2021.
In response to the current crisis, many higher education institutions across Europe have indicated their willingness to host scholars from Afghanistan at their institutions. At the same time institutional representatives may have questions about how to go about hosting a scholar and about the availability of external funding to support such positions. This information session will gather experts from organisations providing direct support to at-risk researchers & scholars in order to provide updated information on how institutions in Europe can assist in meeting the needs of colleagues from Afghanistan at this time.
Following the webinar there will be an opportunity for 30 minutes of more informal networking with participating organisations via the platform Spatial Chat; a link will be provided to all registered attendees.
