Opportunities for Secondments or Sabbaticals in Kazakhstan

East Kazakhstan State Technical University invites applications for short-term visiting lecturer/professor posts in the fields of IT Technology, Engineering, Metallurgy, Geology, Economics, and Construction.

Applicants are expected to hold a PhD or equivalent in these or related fields. Applicants with a Master’s degree in IT Technology and/or Business are also encouraged to apply. All applicants should have at least five years’ teaching experience in higher education and experience conducting research with well-established research collaborators, participation in international research projects and patent ownerships is an advantage.

The period of visiting fellowship or professorship is minimum four weeks. Successful applicants will be paid a salary of 1 000 US dollars per week.

Applicants are requested to submit their curriculum vitae, list of publications, and a record that demonstrates the ability to teach at the university level via email.  The deadline for applications is 15 August 2019.
