ESU launches two calls for student-led initiatives to promote academic freedom and support at-risk students

31 May 2023

As part of the Academic Freedom project that the European Students’ Union (ESU) has been conducting for over a year now, they have just launched two small project grant calls for student led initiatives in Europe.

The projects will be selected based on the applications and are expected to be implemented between August-December 2023. The call is open to student-led initiatives, including Scholars At Risk’s Student Advocacy Seminars, as ESU are aware that there are sections working directly with students.

The first call concerns projects that raise awareness or support at-risk students. It can be found here (1000-3000€).

The second call concerns projects that raise awareness of academic freedom. It can be found here (800-2000€).

Deadline for applications is Friday 1 July 23.59 CEST.

Any questions in relation to these calls should be addressed to Iris Kimizoglu at ESU.
