EUA furthers its work in learning and teaching

08 March 2018

Following the success of the activities under the Learning & Teaching Initiative in 2017, EUA continues its work to support members by providing opportunities for peer-learning and the exchange of good practice.

This year, 38 universities from 21 countries take part in four thematic peer groups which will work on 1) promoting active learning in European universities, 2) exploring institutional policies and practices that support teachers in developing their teaching skills, 3) building career paths, and 4) discussing how universities evaluate learning and teaching.

EUA will summarise the discussions and recommendations of the thematic peer groups in a report that will be published in late autumn. The outcomes of each group’s deliberations will also feed into the second edition of EUA’s European Learning & Teaching Forum, which will be held in Warsaw, Poland on 14-15 February 2019.

For further information about the groups and the Forum, visit the Learning & Teaching Initiative page. You can also follow the initiative on Twitter under #EUALearnTeach and through the LinkedIn group ‘Learning & Teaching in European Higher Education’.
