Inclusive Learning in Higher Education Symposium, 7 and 8 April

The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CELT), part of EUA member National University of Ireland Galway (NUI Galway), partnered with its Inclusive Learning project team to organise the online Inclusive Learning in Higher Education Symposium on 7 and 8 April 2021.

This two-day symposium aims to raise awareness of issues of equality, diversity and inclusion in higher education, and will highlight the importance of centering the student voice. It will also showcase and share inclusive pedagogies, practices and approaches.

Henriette Stoeber, Policy Analyst at EUA, will speak on “Diversity and inclusion in the European Higher Education Area” on 7 April at 11:30. Other speakers include:

• Hamsavani Rajeswaren, Queen’s University Belfast
• Ebun Joseph, University College Dublin
• Tracy Galvin, Queen’s University Belfast

The event is free, fully online and open to anyone with an interest in these issues in a higher education context.
