To mark its 75th anniversary in 2020, the United Nations launched a global conversation on how to tackle the challenges we face and build a better future for all. The UN invites European universities to participate in the UN75 Initiative by hosting dialogues and responding to a one-minute survey.
The UN75 Initiative aims to spark conversations in all settings – from classrooms and boardrooms to parliaments and town halls – on priorities for the future, obstacles to achieving them, and the role of international cooperation in making progress. More than 330 dialogues in 87 countries were held in the first three months of the year – physically and virtually. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, dialogues are now happening online.
This toolkit contains all the information needed to hold a “UN75 dialogue” and help build a better future for all. The survey, the main stream of the Initiative, is available in 62 languages.
