Brussels attacks: EUA expresses solidarity with victims

The European University Association (EUA) is deeply saddened by the attacks that took place at the Brussels airport and metro station this morning.

The Association would like to express its most heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. EUA would also like to thank friends and colleagues who have sent messages expressing concern for the Secretariat, which is based in Brussels not far from the location of the metro attack. EUA confirms that all staff members are all well and safe. Finally, EUA would like to draw attention not only to the barbarity of these attacks, but also to the appalling reality that such attacks continue to happen.
