Every two years, the European Youth Event gathers young people from all over the EU and beyond to shape and share ideas on the future of Europe. Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to register and participate in a variety of activities and artistic performances while meeting inspiring speakers, decision-makers, experts and activists.
Registrations will open in January 2020 for groups of 10 people minimum. In the meantime, participants can submit their proposals for activities or stage performances until 17 November.
This year’s edition will take place at the European Parliament's seat in Strasbourg on 29-30 May 2020. After the event, the ideas, concerns and hopes will be presented in a report to the Members of the European Parliament, and some participants will have the opportunity to take part in the “Youth Hearings”, where they will discuss the most impactful ideas directly with the MEPs.
The #EYE2020 is a great opportunity for students in Europe to find their own space for inspiration and address policymakers right at the heart of European democracy.
