Second Annual Seamless Learning Conference at WU Vienna

For the second time around, EUA member WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business) will host its Seamless Learning Conference from 20 – 21 April 2023.


This year’s topic will be “Rethinking Learning Modes and Learning Paths” with themes covering seamless learning experiences as well as seamless learning paths (including microcredentials). The goal is to not only discuss policies and process, but also to delve into best practices. The conference is aimed at higher education professionals and policy makers from Austria and the European Higher Education Area.

Invited speakers and panellists include, among others, Michaela Martin (Programme Specialist, UNESCO-IIEP), Mairéad Nic Giolla Mhichíl (Director, Micro-Credential Strategy & Innovation, Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow, University College Dublin), Thérèse Zhang (Deputy Director for Higher Education Policy, European University Association), Andreas Dengel (Professor of Computer Science Didactics, Goethe University Frankfurt) and Jose Fernando Garcia Estrada (Researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, Researcher at the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning at Norwegian University of Science and Technology).
