Call to register: EUA Institutional Evaluation Programme

EUA’s Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP) is now accepting registrations for the 2023/24 round.

IEP offers comprehensive, improvement-oriented institutional evaluations conducted by a team of experienced higher education leaders. The evaluation process and the resulting report and recommendations aim to support institutions in developing their strategic leadership and capacity to manage change.

The programme has a context-sensitive approach that allows institutions to address issues of concern across all areas of activity. It also offers the opportunity to select a special focus for the evaluation: internationalisation, or management of research and use of research results. This focus is applied within a comprehensive institutional evaluation, but is given special attention throughout the evaluation process, providing more in-depth analysis and recommendations.

Starting with the 2023/24 round, IEP will implement a blended evaluation format that combines a four-day site visit with a set of online meetings. This format has been developed based on experience gained during the Covid-19 pandemic and feedback from the IEP pool of experts and evaluated institutions. It will allow IEP to reduce its carbon footprint, in line with the transition towards carbon neutrality and sustainable societies and economies, while following the same methodology and maintaining the quality and usefulness of the process.

The closing date for registrations is 2 July 2023.

Information about how IEP works, testimonials and the most recent paper giving insight into what institutions might expect can be found on the IEP website.

IEP is an independent quality assurance agency listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) and a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
