Call for participation - EUA-CDE Thematic Peer Group “Career Development and Tracking in Doctoral Education”

Please note that the call for participation is now closed.

The Thematic Peer Groups (TPGs) organised by the EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) provide participating member universities with an opportunity for mutual learning on selected topics. They contribute to a common knowledge base on doctoral education structures, policies and practices in Europe.

This new Thematic Peer Group on career development and tracking will focus on the collection and use of data gathered from doctoral holders regarding their professional positions. It will take stock of the different approaches and methods of career tracking that have been implemented by universities. Discussions will, in addition, address the challenge of using the collected data to develop evidence-based career development support.

The first EUA-CDE TPG on “Career Development and Tracking in Doctoral Education” will take place on 15 March 2019 (venue to be confirmed). If you are interested in becoming a member of the TPG, please consult the Call for Participation below and submit your application via the online form by 16 January 2019.
