EQAF 2019 and 2020: call for hosts

18 January 2018

The organisers of the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) are seeking universities to host EQAF in November 2019 and 2020. Details regarding the requirements for hosting the Forum are available for download.

EQAF has been organised annually since 2006 by EUA, ENQAEURASHE and ESU, and has become the premier event for quality assurance (QA) in Europe, attracting over 400 participants each year from across Europe and beyond.

As the largest annual gathering of the European higher education QA community, EQAF provides a platform for discussion, professional development and exchange of experiences among the main stakeholders in this field. Participation in EQAF includes representatives from higher education institutions and QA agencies, students, researchers and policy makers.

By hosting EQAF in 2019 or 2020, universities have the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the Forum, by making it a memorable event for European higher education stakeholders, while also gaining visibility for its own institution. The call is open to EUA member universities, and joint bids between universities and members of the other organising associations (quality assurance agencies, student unions and professional higher education institutions) are also welcome. The organisers would furthermore like to encourage applications from universities in countries where EQAF has not previously been held.

For further information and to find out more about applying, please contact The deadline for submitting full bids is 30 April 2018.
